A pony rides birthday party is one of the few party ideas that entertains toddlers and grade-schoolers at the same time. Here is exactly how ours run, so you can plan the rest of the day around it.
Pick a party length first
Our package rate covers one hour, which is comfortable for about 15 riders. Busier guest lists do better with a longer window; 1.5- and 2-hour options are available when booking and the website shows the exact price.
Know the riding rules before you invite
- Pony rides are for children up to 65 pounds.
- Every rider is led by one of our handlers - kids never steer alone.
- Guests over the weight limit can still brush, braid, walk a pony and meet the petting zoo animals.
Space, surface and setup
A backyard, driveway, cul-de-sac or park pavilion all work. Indoors we only need an 8' x 8' open space in a garage or house, and we lay a tarp down first so clean-up is easy.
Timing the schedule
- Start rides right when guests arrive - it solves the awkward first 15 minutes.
- Cake and presents work best in the last 20 minutes, after the animals leave.
- Book a weekday if you can: Monday-Thursday rates are lower than Friday and Saturday.
Booking and payment
A $25 deposit holds your date and applies to the balance. Travel is free within 6 miles of Lehi and $3 per mile one way beyond that, calculated automatically when you type your address. We also offer a 10% cash discount on the remaining balance.
